Jacey joined us over a year ago. She is an experienced operations professional, whose aim is to provide our employees with the best experience possible. Her role is expansive, and includes managing our London office, our IT and communications estate and events.
Sitting down with our team: Q&A with Jacey Ritchie
What’s one thing about Oaklin’s culture that stands out to you?
What stands out the most is how authentic and passionate everyone is. From the day I started, I was welcomed by genuinely friendly colleagues who bring both expertise and energy to everything they do. It makes such a difference working alongside people who not only excel in their roles but also share a real passion for delivering the best outcomes, both internally and for our clients. That combination of skill and authenticity makes Oaklin a truly special place to work.

What do you enjoy the most about the Oaklin office?
I might be a little biased, since I help look after it, but I’d say the open-plan layout has to be my favourite aspect - closely followed by the endless snacks (especially Veggie Thursdays!). Having everyone working on the same open-plan floor creates such a positive buzz, with energy and ideas flowing across the space. It really lifts the mood, and even on slower days the atmosphere makes a huge difference.
What’s your go-to productivity hack?
At the end of each day, I take time to rewrite my to-do list and map out the tasks for the following day. It acts as a “brain dump,” helping me leave work at the office instead of carrying it home in my head. It also means that when I walk in the next morning, I already have a clear focus and direction, which sets me up for a productive start.

Can you tell me about a time you felt particularly supported by the team?
I feel fortunate to work with everyone at Oaklin, from the senior team to our Business Analysts (Oaklin’s entry level), and I honestly couldn’t do my role without their continued support. They’re my biggest cheerleaders and my sounding board for new ideas and improvements. It isn’t about a single moment of support, because I experience it every day. That constant encouragement and collaboration is what makes me feel so valued and able to do my best work.
