High Performing Teams

Successfully navigating today’s workplace remains as challenging as ever. Leaders are balancing a range of competing priorities, striving to stay profitable while satisfying diverse stakeholder demands. In this environment, sustaining high performance is difficult to achieve, as teams often struggle with:

  • Lack of trust
  • Siloed communication
  • Lack of accountability
  • Low motivation
  • Team conflict

Oaklin's High Performing Teams proposition is all about maximising the potential of your team to deliver exceptional results. Through bespoke workshops and training packages, we unable teams to work effectively, perform at their best and achieve their goals.

Underpinning these services is Oaklin’s accreditation as a certified business practitioner in Insights Discovery©, through which we help individuals and teams to better understand themselves and each other.

How we help

Underpinning the High Performing Teams Proposition is Oaklin’s accreditation as a Licensed Practitioner of Insights Discovery©, through which we help individuals and teams to better understand themselves and each other. Following the initial evaluator, we will coach you through your comprehensive Insights Profile to deepen this understanding and recommend practical ways to maximise the strengths you bring to your team.

We also offer the Oaklin High Performing Teams Maturity Assessment, a free self-assessment tool designed to help you understand your main challenges across the following high-performance attributes, and determine the steps required to increase your maturity.

Following these initial assessments, the Oaklin team will work alongside you to reach and sustain high performance in a particular challenge area. We will leverage our extensive experience in business and culture transformation to help you develop high functioning, aligned teams that consistently deliver exceptional results.

Contact us to receive an Insights Discovery Evaluator or if your organisation would benefit from using our maturity assessment tool.

“With a greater understanding of each other, it now feels like we have a safer and more productive space from which to move forward.

Case Studies

Enhancing collaboration to support a joint venture

The project team of a Joint Venture (JV) between two FTSE100 Energy companies benefited from a high level of technical expertise. However, they recognised a need to strengthen group cohesion and enhance communication.

The Oaklin team prepared an away day with the objective of building connections across the JV, improving self-awareness and mutual understanding among team members.

Each participant completed the Insights Discovery questionnaire, providing personalised profiles that guided our workshop activities.

Our facilitators led the team through activities that illuminated their personal colour energies, helping team members connect with their strengths and identify growth opportunities.

We tailored examples to reflect real-life scenarios, illustrating how different colour energies can contribute to project-specific goals.

We offered condensed refresher sessions to remind each team member of ways to apply their Insights Discovery profiles to daily work challenges.

The client received practical guides and reminders for integrating the colour energies into their regular interactions and projects.

Insights Discovery team building workshop at an Automotive manufacturer

Oaklin facilitated an Insights Discovery colour wheel workshop to improve team dynamics, foster a collaborative and inclusive culture and focus on ways of working at the client. The half-day workshop introduced the participants to their Insights Discovery profiles and through a series of fun and engaging activities, explored specific areas including strengths, communication styles and blind spots.

Oaklin facilitated the creation of a ‘Team Colour Wheel’ showing similarities, differences and values each member of the team brings, and ultimately provided a transparent understanding of their purpose, roles, personal needs and goals.

The session encouraged inclusiveness, respect and cooperation raising the levels of trust and psychological safety within the team, improving decision-making and enhancing collaboration. The workshop laid the groundwork for improved relationships and team performance.
